Mendesign web sederhana dengan Adobe Photoshop + CSS
Untuk designnya mungkin tidak akan saya jelaskan cara pembuatannya karena sangat sederhana...
Usahakan hasil potongan atau slicenya ada 4 bagian seperti gambar dibawah.....

- Atur Page Propertiesnya seperti gambar dibawah
- Keterangan Gambar :
- Untuk margin beri nilai 0 pixel (margin-left, margin-top, margin-right, margin-bottom)
- Background-image : pilih browse, lalu cari gambar background yang telah anda buat designya sendiri... ( bg body pada gambar diatas )
- Beri repeat : repeat-x
- Background-Color : #ffffff ( putih )
- Text-color : pilih sesuai selera ( saya menggunakan kode warna= #333333 ) dengan sizenya : 12px dan Font : arial...
- sehingga hasilnya seperti berikut :

Abstract Art dengan Adobe Photoshop CS3...
Jika biasanya kita melihat gambar-gambar berbentuk abstract itu dibuat menggunakan Adobe Ilustrator... tapi saya mencoba untuk membuatnya menggunakan Adobe Photoshop CS3 yang saya miliki...
- Pertama buat dokumen baru dengan ukuran 1024 x 768 pixels...
- Buatlah sebuah layer baru dan beri nama [ abstract_line1 ]
- Terus... kita buat objek menggunakan Rectangular marquee tool... buatlah seleksi dengan bentuk garis yang memanjang...
- Setting warna foreground menjadi warna hijau, misal...
- Tekan alt + del... ( alt + del digunakan untuk memberi fill objek dengan warna foreground, ctrl + del digunakan untuk memberi fill objek dengan warna background )
- Tekan ctrl + D untuk menonaktifkan seleksi, ( deselect )
- nah... Sekarang kita mulai merusak suatu objek menjadikan bentuk abstract... hahaha...
- Pastikan layer [ abstract_line1 ] sedang dalam keadaan aktif...
- lalu tekan menu [ filter ] >> [ liquify ... ctrl + shift + X ] ... tunggu hingga muncul kotak dialog seperti gambar berikut...
- Gunakan Forward warp tool... atur ukuran brush yang diperlukan
- Mulailah menggoreskan brush dari arah kiri ke kanan... ( lihat gambar dibawah )
- Tambahkan gerakan lagi sekali dengan pola sebagai berikut...
- Pada intinya gerakan tersebut sesuai dengan seni yang kita miliki...
- Cobalah dengan bentuk objek yang lain...
- untuk memperindah gunakan Filter >> [ Render ] >> [ Lens Flare ]... ikuti settingannya sesuai keinginan...
- Langkah-langkah diatas hanya tipsnya saja... sekarang tergantung kekreatifan Anda menggunakan tips diatas... Semoga membantu... kalo ada yang salah dimaafin ya...he Peace...

Shredder 9
It is one of the most successful chess programs of all time, winning countless computer chess tournaments and topping the computer rating lists. Now a brand-new version of Shredder is out, even more powerful than its predecessor. It has a beautiful 3D glass chess set and an interesting retroanalytical feature.

No other program has won as many computer chess world championship titles, and in this highly competitive field Shredder has been leading the world rankings (the “SSDF list”) for some time now. All of this is a testimonial to the quality of Meyer-Kahlen’s work.
The top programs on the current SSDF computer ratings list. The following is a list of the top twenty programs. Naturally the brand-new Shredder 9 has yet to be tested, as is the case with the latest update of Fritz 8.0 (which is automatically installed when you log into the Playchess server).

Now Shredder is available in the version 9. If you look back at the remarkable level the previous version achieved you may be forgiven for asking just how much Shredder 9 could have been improved. Well, for one thing it is even stronger than its predecessor. The actual improvements in playing strength were achieved mainly in the area of the king safety. Shredder now evaluates its defensive resources more accurately and, as an additional bonus, recognises more quickly weaknesses in the position of the enemy king. This leads to an improved and more dynamic attacking style.

Another clear improvement is the behaviour of the engine in closed positions – always the nemesis of chess programs. Shredder 9 knows better how to play in untactical and blocked positions than its predecessors (and most of its colleagues). In addition even its legendary endgame technique has been further improved and is more precise, due to a better understanding of endgames in which the drawing chances are very high. We would like to mention that the search function, a trademark power point of the program, has also been improved and optimised.

As we all know the power of contemporary chess programs is so high that hardly any user has a chance of actually beating them. The main use of a newer and stronger program is therefore in their ability to analyse positions and prepare their human owners for competitive chess. And it is in this area that Shredder 9 has improved considerably.
“Retroanalysis”
Shredder 9 has a new and improved retroanalytical function, one that is automatically activated when you switch the engine into analysis mode. The retroanalysis functions as follows: when you are studying a position you should try out certain critical lines, i.e. execute them on the board. Then return to the original position and try different alternatives. While you are doing this you will notice that Shredder understands the position better and better, and will of its own accord suggest improved variations. This is because it has evaluated the critical variations very deeply, and actually remembers its evaluation of the positions it has encountered in these analytical forays.
Experts will interject that this is not a new technique, and in fact Shredder itself has used retroanalysis for many years now. The improvement in Shredder 9 is that the program stores the results of previous analysis and integrates these results into the current search much more efficiently. You can test any number of lines to any depth, and you will see how well the program uses the results in its evaluation of the base position. This is especially true in very complex positions.
The best way to explain the retroanalytical function is with a practical example. We do this with a famous game and a very deep move.

Versions for Mac OS and Mac OS X were at one time available, but due to poor sales these were discontinued. The last port for Linux was version 9 (released in 2000, it didn't run natively, instead it used a modified version of Wine to run) and the last version for OS X was version 11 (released in 2001). Also, up until version 5, CorelDRAW was developed for Windows 3.1x and OS/2.

In 1987, Corel hired software engineers Michel Bouillon and Pat Beirne to develop a vector-based illustration program to bundle with these desktop publishing systems. That program, CorelDRAW, was initially released in 1989. The program was well received, and Corel soon focused on software alone.
CorelDRAW 1.x and 2.x runs under Windows 2.x and 3.0. CorelDRAW 3.0 came into its own with Microsoft's release of Windows 3.1. The inclusion of TrueType in Windows 3.1 transformed CorelDRAW into a serious illustration program capable of using system-installed outline fonts without requiring third party software such as Adobe Type Manager and also was the first all-in-one Graphics Suite, which combined a vector graphics software with a photo editing program (PhotoPaint), a font manager and several other pieces of software included with each version.

CorelDRAW differentiates itself from its competitors in a number of ways:
The first is its positioning as a graphics suite, rather than just a vector graphics program. A full range of editing tools allow the user to adjust contrast, color balance, change the format from RGB to CMYK, add special effects such as vignettes and special borders to bitmaps. Bitmaps can also be edited more extensively using Corel PhotoPaint, opening the bitmap directly from CorelDRAW and returning to the program after saving. It also allows a laser to cut out any drawings.
CorelDRAW's capability to handle multiple pages along with multiple master layers from within the main program provides a major benefit compared to Adobe Illustrator. Multipage documents are easy to create and edit and the Corel print engine allows for booklet and other imposition so even simple printers can be used for producing finished documents. One of the useful features for single and multi-page documents is the ability to create linked text boxes across documents that can be resized and moved while the text itself resets and flows through the boxes. Useful for creating and editing multi-article newsletters etc.
Smaller items, like business cards, invitations etc, can be designed to their final page size and imposed to the printer's sheet size for cost-effective printing. An additional print-merge feature (using a spreadsheet or text merge file) allows full personalization for many things like numbered raffle tickets, individual invitations, membership cards and more. A bit like microsoft publisher but a lot more flexible and user friendly.
CorelDRAW's competitors include Adobe Illustrator and Xara Xtreme. Although all of these are vector-based illustration programs, the user experience differs greatly between them. While these programs will read their native file types and vice versa, the translation is rarely perfect. CorelDRAW can open Adobe PDF files: Adobe PageMaker, Microsoft Publisher and Word, and other programs can print documents to PDF using the Adobe PDFWriter printer driver, which CorelDRAW can then open and edit every aspect of the original layout and design. CorelDRAW can also open PowerPoint Presentations and other Microsoft Office formats with little or no problem.

An additional print-merge feature (using a spreadsheet or text merge file) allows full personalization for many things like numbered raffle tickets, individual invitations, membership cards and more. A bit like microsoft publisher but a lot more flexible and user friendly.
CorelDRAW's competitors include Adobe Illustrator and Xara Xtreme. Although all of these are vector-based illustration programs, the user experience differs greatly between them. While these programs will read their native file types and vice versa, the translation is rarely perfect. CorelDRAW can open Adobe PDF files: Adobe PageMaker, Microsoft Publisher and Word, and other programs can print documents to PDF using the Adobe PDFWriter printer driver, which CorelDRAW can then open and edit every aspect of the original layout and design. CorelDRAW can also open PowerPoint Presentations and other Microsoft Office formats with little or no problem.

During this time, John traveled to Silicon Valley and gave a demonstration of the program to engineers at Apple Computer Inc. and Russell Brown, art director at Adobe. Both showings were successful, and Adobe decided to purchase the license to distribute in September 1988. While John worked on plug-ins in California, Thomas remained in Ann Arbor writing program code. Photoshop 1.0 was released in 1990 for Macintosh exclusively.

Acid Pro
Sony ACID Pro is a professional digital audio workstation (DAW) software program. It was originally called "ACID pH1" and published by Sonic Foundry, but is now developed and sold by Sony Creative Software. When it was first launched in 1998 as a loop-based music sequencer, Acid Pro was the first-ever automatic audio loop-based music software of its kind, where someone could simply drag-and-drop an Acid loop file (for example a Drum or Bass loop) onto a track in Acid, and that loop would automatically adjust itself to the tempo and key of the song, with virtually no sonic degradation.
Due to this breakthrough, ACID became very popular with composers, producers, and DJs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, interested in quickly creating beats, music textures, or even complete compositions and orchestrations, that would work with virtually any tempo or key signature, and these loops would adjust automatically. To be able to do this, Sony's Acid Pro uses specially prepared or "Acidized" music wave files which can be prepared using an audio editing tool such as Sony Soundforge. (for more information on audio editing, see sound effect techniques).
Since then, this looping technique has been adopted by the majority of other digital audio workstations on the market, which can also use these acidized loop files, though there are various compatibility problems between the Apple Mac Operating System, which uses AIFF files, and the Microsoft Windows Operating System which uses WAV files. To solve this problem, most publishers are now releasing special versions of "Acidized loops" that are customized for Acid Pro, and also for Apple Macs. Acid Pro runs on PCs with all versions of Microsoft Windows since Windows 2000. It currently includes over 20 DirectX audio effects, employs the new Media Manager technology, the Beatmapper tool, and the Chopper tool, as well the ability to mix in 5.1 channel surround.
With Acid Pro 6 (released in Q3-2006), Sony introduced a full digital audio workstation which also includes MIDI and multitrack audio recording with full support for ASIO, VST, and VSTI audio, plugins, and music synthesizer standards.
ACID Pro uses Acid Loops (meaning they contain tempo and key information for proper pitch transposition) painted out across the screen to create music tracks. Acidized loop sample CDs are available from Sony, as well as third party companies.
Image Line's Digital Audio Workstation, FL Studio, allows users to save projects or loop regions in the "acidized" format, allowing users who mix or master in Acid Pro to use the features of Acid Pro the same way they could use any "acidized" loops. This synergy between the programs has made it a popular combination for both experienced and new producers by streamlining the production process.
As with most sophisticated software packages, ACID is not a single software product but defines a family of products spanning a significant range of features. In a related-marketing effort, Sony has continued to support ACIDplanet, a content web site originally launched by Sonic Foundry which is aimed at current ACID users, prospective ACID users and the general public. * Macromedia Flash 8:
o Macromedia Flash Basic 8 (released on September 13, 2005): A less feature-rich version of the Flash authoring tool targeted at new users who only want to do basic drawing, animation and interactivity. Released with Flash Player 8, this version of the product has limited support for video and advanced graphical and animation effects.
o Macromedia Flash Professional 8 (released on September 13, 2005): Released with the Flash Player 8, Flash Professional 8 added features focused on expressiveness, quality, video, and mobile authoring. New features included Filters and blend modes, easing control for animation, enhanced stroke properties (caps and joins), object-based drawing mode, run-time bitmap caching, FlashType advanced anti-aliasing for text, On2 VP6 advanced video codec, support for alpha transparency in video, a stand-alone encoder and advanced video importer, cue point support in FLV files, an advanced video playback component, and an interactive mobile device emulator.
* Adobe Flash CS3 Professional (as version 9, released on April 16, 2007): Flash CS3 is the first version of Flash released under the Adobe name. CS3 features full support for ActionScript 3.0, allows entire applications to be converted into ActionScript, adds better integration with other Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop, and also provides better Vector drawing behavior, becoming more like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Fireworks.
* Adobe Flash CS4 Professional (as version 10, released on October 15, 2008): Contains inverse kinematics (bones), basic 3D object manipulation, object-based animation, an enhanced text engine, and further expansions to ActionScript 3.0. CS4 allows the developer to more efficiently and quickly create animations with many improved features that were not included in previous versions.
